We have been learning all about the reality and impact of homelessness in Scotland over the past few weeks. The children have been so engaged and motivated to learn more and come up with ideas about how they could help make a difference to the lives of homeless people.
We began by looking at the stereotypes linked to homelessness and used a variety of sources to find out what it can really be like.
The children have decided to do some carol singing on the Meadows next Friday to hopefully raise some money and awareness about the issues they have been learning about. If you are available from about 9:30 on Friday the 15th then please come along to show your support!
This week we worked in co-operative learning to create information leaflets about homelessness.
